About this opportunity:We’re looking for a Project Manager to join our Project Management Office (PMO). In this role you will help orchestrate the delivery of complex projects within GoEngineer. Our work ensures the optimization and success of the services and products we provide for our valued customers.This role lives at the intersection of technical execution, stakeholder communication, and detailed coordination. You’ll need to be steady under pressure, fluent in managing expectations across multiple fronts, and energized by both structure and collaboration.At GoEngineer, project management isn’t about tracking tasks, it’s about delivering highly technical solutions with precision, care, and a deep respect for both the process and the people involved.GoEngineer is a provider of the most compelling design platforms in the industry, deploying engineering software and 3D Printing technology to make the design process innovative, efficient, and intelligent.Your key contributions in this role will be:Project Planning:
  • Define project objectives and scope.
  • Develop a detailed project plan, including timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.
  • Effectively use team processes, practices, & tools for execution.
  • Allocate resources, identify potential risks, & develop risk management strategies.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project team members.
  • Establish quality standards and ensure they are met.
Communication & Documentation:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related communication.
  • Facilitate meetings and discussions, accountable for regular project updates, and ensuring clarity and alignment among team members and stakeholders.
  • Maintain thorough project documentation, including project plans, reports, and records.
Budget & Risk Management:
  • Monitor project effort, costs, and resource allocation in alignment with budgets.
  • Report on financial status and adjustment as needed
  • Identify, monitor, assess potential risks and develop proactive risk mitigation plans throughout the project's lifecycle.
Time Management & Problem Solving:
  • Manage project timelines and schedules to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Handle, assess, and make adjustments as changes to the project scope or requirements occur.
  • Address issues and obstacles that may arise during the project.
  • Use problem-solving skills to find effective solutions and keep the project on track.
Stakeholder Management:
  • Identify project stakeholders and understand their needs and expectations.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
  • Address stakeholder concerns and keep them informed about project progress.
We would appreciate candidates who have:
  • Proven experience managing client-facing technical projects, ideally within a SaaS, engineering, manufacturing, or aerospace environment.
  • Deep appreciation for structure, systems, and process maturity, plus the resourcefulness to navigate ambiguity when it shows up.
  • A knack for managing across departments, utilizing a collaborative nature, and being able to bring the right people in at the right time.
  • Strong documentation skills and a proactive mindset when it comes to organizing work and making decisions visible.
  • A sense of ownership and pride in creating a well-oiled delivery machine, your work helps keep the orchestra in tune. Details are evidence of your craftsmanship.
Further, we are looking for candidates with the below experience and skills, however, even if you do not meet all the listed requirements, very interested candidates should still apply:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in project management software, such as Smartsheet, and Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices
  • Project management certification
  • Experience in specific industries or domains relevant to the organization
Competitive Compensation Includes:This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm, remote-work, salaried pay range is $65,000 - $72,000 annually, based on experience.
