Ocean State Behavioral: PASS Worker - ProvidencePersonal Assistance Services & Supports *Bilingual Only*- Starting pay $22.50 an hour -The Position: *ASL EXPERIENCE PREFERRED*With a competitive starting pay, and a cohesive "family-like" work environment, a PASS Direct Support Professional at Ocean State Behavioral will use their skills to work a consumer directed service provider. You will work in a home and community setting to implement a service plan alongside a client's family and/or guardian(s) while assisting and supporting children with activities of daily living, decision making and participating in social situations. PASS is provided in the home and community setting to assist and support children with activities of daily living, making self-preserving decisions, and participating in social situations.This is a part-time position where you will be responsible for adhering to professional and legal requirements and demonstrating sound judgement while providing at least the minimum standard of care according to program standards and principles of "good practice."Who We Are:Ocean State Behavioral provides an array of behaviorally based treatment and mental health services to children, families, and adults.   • At least 19 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have Vehicle, no history of DUI, a year free of vehicle accidents, valid vehicle insurance, valid vehicle registration, and valid state inspection sticker.
  • Has no legal obligation and does not live in the same household of the child supported.
Job Duties:
  • Implementing a service plan that is developed by the child's family and the agency.
  • Providing guidance and redirection for the individual with special needs.
  • Presenting opportunities for rewarding social interactions.
  • Writing organized and in-depth daily contact notes and keeping data collection on service plan goals.
  • Providing information to the family on service plan goals.

  • Tuesdays 4 to 8 p.m.
  • Thursdays 4 to 8:30 p.m.
  • Fridays 4 to 9 p.m.
