- PhD degree in Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, Quantum Information Science, or a related technical field or equivalent experience.
- 2 years of experience in Quantum Computing, Chemistry, Computational Physics, Mathematical Modeling, or Applied Mathematics.
- Experience in noisy quantum systems, quantum noise modeling, and error mitigation/suppression techniques.
- Experience with experimental operation of quantum systems.
- Experience contributing to or leading projects within large-scale industry or scientific collaborations.
- Experience in quantum protocols, characterization methods, and advanced error mitigation/suppression techniques.
- Track record of impactful research publications in the field of Quantum Computing.
- Research and develop methods for high-accuracy quantum computation on noisy practical systems, encompassing error mitigation, suppression, and robust quantum protocols. This involves developing theory, performing numerical modeling and simulations, and collaborating closely with experiments.
- Validate and stress-test work in practical scenarios used by users and practitioners.
- Collaborate effectively across theoretical and experimental teams to disseminate knowledge and facilitate technology transfer and development.
- Innovate, patent, and publish research findings in peer-reviewed publications and present at conferences.
