The ideal candidate will have experience developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting web applications, ensuring seamless integration with SharePoint 2019 and SQL Server 2016. This role requires expertise in front-end and back-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks/libraries, REST API, ASP.Net, and IIS Server. The developer will also be responsible for user training, documentation, and customer engagement while maintaining security and compliance within a DoD environment.***Requires a current Top Secret security clearance. A CI Polygraph will be required within 6 months.***Must be a US CitizenEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDuties include, but not limited to:
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript (JQuery, Angular, React), REST API, and ASP.Net.
  • Work with SharePoint 2019 to design, develop, and support intranet and collaboration solutions.
  • Manage and optimize SQL Server 2016 databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.
  • Configure and maintain IIS Server for hosting and deploying applications.
  • Utilize version control tools to manage source code effectively.
  • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data using Power Query and Power Pivot.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software issues, performance bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities.
  • Engage with customers to gather requirements, provide technical solutions, and offer ongoing support.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and training materials.
  • Conduct user training sessions and provide technical support as needed.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in web development and cybersecurity compliance.
RequirementsMinimum RequirementsKnowledge and SkillsThe required skills and knowledge include:
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks/libraries such as JQuery, Angular, and React.
  • Experience with SharePoint 2019 development and administration.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server 2016, including database design, queries, and stored procedures.
  • Experience configuring and managing IIS Server for application hosting.
  • Proficiency in ASP.Net development and integration.
  • Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git, SVN) and Visual Studio IDE.
  • Experience with Power Query and Power Pivot for ETL and data transformation.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to write clear and concise technical documentation.
  • Excellent customer engagement and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive learner with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
The minimum years of related experience required:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in full-stack web development.
EducationThe minimum level of education required is:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Desired RequirementsThe desired skills, knowledge, and education include:
  • Experience working in a DoD or government contracting environment.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and DoD compliance requirements.
  • Experience developing and implementing automation scripts and workflows.
Other QualificationsOutside of the above, other certifications, licenses, or clearances include:
  • TS-SCI with CI Poly security clearance.
  • Must meet DoD 8570/8140 IAT-I certification requirements (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent security certification).

Salary at MAG Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $170000 to $200000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG's total compensation package for employees.
