We are currently seeking entry level candidates for a full-time position in Bindery, Warehouse, Press Operator functions on 2nd shift at our Palmer Printing division in Waite Park, MN.Job duties include:
  • Support operation of our 40" Komori LS 5 Color Press from start-up to shutdown
  • Learn and operate additional equipment such as other printing equipment, warehouse forklift, jacks, etc.
  • Read and understand job tickets to produce a top-quality job with proper stock, placement, and quantity.
  • Accurate and complete recording of stock used and labor reporting.
  • Keeps area and machine clean, maintained and safe.
  • Communicates daily with manager on supply needs, machine status, and daily concerns.
  • Troubleshoot and perform equipment adjustments and repairs as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Prior printing experience preferred.
  • Quality conscious and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Must be able to lift 60 pounds or more and stand for 7-10 hours per day.
  • Works well with others, self-motivated, can-do attitude, and is a team player.
  • Must be able to cross train others and be cross trained on other equipment.
  • Self-motivated with strong mechanical trouble shooting abilities.
  • Ability to read a ruler and basic math skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
Normal hours for this position will be Monday-Thursday from 2pm-12:30am.Starting hourly pay of $18-$21 per hour with two performance reviews/potential increases during your first year!POS offers excellent working conditions, competitive wage and benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, life & disability insurance, 401(k) plan with company contribution, paid time off and paid holidays.Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.
