We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design within a manufacturing or fabrication environment. This role involves developing innovative solutions, creating detailed designs, and ensuring the successful implementation of projects.Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical components and systems for manufacturing processes.
- Create detailed CAD models and engineering drawings using software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet specifications and are manufacturable.
- Conduct analysis and testing to validate design integrity and performance.
- Identify and implement design improvements to optimize manufacturing efficiency.
- Prepare technical documentation and reports for project stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for production issues.
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design within a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
- Experience with design analysis tools (FEA, CFD) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Preferred Skills:
