- Supervise a team of warehouse associates; assign tasks, monitor performance, and support training.
- Support daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and shipping.
- Prepare and present operational reports, including inventory levels, staff performance, and safety incidents.
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality; report discrepancies.
- Organize and maintain warehouse layout for optimal efficiency and space utilization.
- Perform regular cycle counts and assist with full physical inventories; investigate discrepancies.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders accurately to meet deadlines.
- Safely operate and oversee use of warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and telehandlers.
- Conduct routine equipment checks and report any maintenance issues.
- Quarantine and report damaged or defective materials.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety procedures to maintain a secure working environment.
- Perform logistics functions on incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Support coordination with procurement, operations, and field teams to ensure timely delivery of materials to job sites.
- Create and maintain a positive and productive work environment to achieve daily goals.
- Travel occasionally (1–2 times per month) to support warehouse or field operations.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years of warehouse supervisory or lead experience.
- Experience operating warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, telehandlers).
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to foster teamwork.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with Dynamics 365 Business Central preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and work in indoor/outdoor conditions.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the Warehouse Manager and cross-functional teams.
