Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.Position OverviewThe purpose of this position is to manufacture lyophilized products and help organize the lyophilization group of the Life Science's Department as well as support other departments and groups as directed.This role is 100% On-Site, Monday - Friday 8 hours/day (excluding lunch break). Overtime, weekends and holidays may be required. Typical schedule is 7:30 am - 4:00 pm Monday - Friday.Duties and ResponsibilitiesWork closely with supervisor and planner to ensure builds occur on time * Collaborate with team members on liquid assay formulations and lyophilization in an ISO 13485 cleanroomConfirm raw materials are received, prepared, and ready for manufacturing builds while ensuring materials are appropriately handledAbility to solve problems or escalate, as needFollow established procedures and maintain up-to-date qualified training statusFollow GMP and GDPEnsure materials are appropriately handledCommit to a high degree of detail, quality, and focusKeep associated clean rooms stocked and ready for use * Coordinate smooth transfers between shiftsCoordinate with other departments to help ensure all AMS goals are achievedUnderstand lyophilization technology * Ability to pass visual acuity exam according to SOP guidelinesAs needed, support coverage of work outside of the normal shift hours and on weekendsEducation and Experience RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentAssociate's or Bachelor's degree, preferred2 years of manufacturing experience in a cleanroom environment following GMP and GDP is strongly preferredComputer proficiencyAbility to interface and communicate well with cross-functional teammatesFormulation experienceUnderstand scientific units of measureMust be accountable, proactive, be able to speak up, provide feedback, and communicate openly and honestlyArgonaut Manufacturing Services, Inc. is proud to be an equal opportunity employer committed to providing employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age or disability, or any other class protected by Federal, State or local laws.
