Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay: $26 – $30/hour (Based on experience)Position Summary:We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fitter/Fabricator to join our team on 1st shift. In this role, you’ll be responsible for reading blueprints, fitting components, and performing MIG welding to assemble high-quality products. This is a great opportunity for individuals who take pride in precision fabrication and enjoy working in a hands-on manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities:Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine welding and fabrication requirementsLay out, align, and fit components according to specifications, using blueprints, BOMs, and verbal instructionsCheck parts for accuracy, fit, and clearanceBolt, clamp, and tack-weld components in preparation for final MIG weldingSelect appropriate tools and plan assembly layout for welding tasksSet up welding machines based on project requirementsUse a variety of hand and power tools as neededPerform visual inspections and provide feedback on quality to prevent defectsMaintain a clean and organized work area; return tools and equipment after useAssist with tasks in other departments as needed to support workflowQualifications:Proven experience in fitting/fabrication and MIG weldingAbility to read and interpret blueprints, BOMs, and technical drawingsSkilled in using various hand and power toolsStrong attention to detail and qualityAbility to work independently and as part of a teamReliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
