In fact, you have all you need to take charge of your career and accelerate better outcomes – making this a great time to join our team of passionate individuals dedicated to being a vital partner for health solutions in the public sector.Acentra Health seeks a Clinical Supervisor to join our growing team.Job Summary:Acentra Health is seeking Clinical Supervisors who utilize clinical expertise in conjunction with contract requirements, state and federal rules and regulations, critical thinking, and decision-making skills to support the Clinical Manager in administrative and clinical oversight of a Medicaid clinical assessments program. Assign assessments and coaches clinical evaluators conducting assessments. Ensure day-to-day processes are conducted in accordance with contract and other regulatory standards. Assist with training and onboarding new assessors as needed.Job Responsibilities:
  • Ensures high program quality by supporting contract compliance through overseeing assignment and completion of assessments.
  • Performs chart reviews of assigned assessors as part of KEPRO’s quality program.
  • Improves program staff performance through coaching of staff to meet all professional and contractual obligations.
  • Improves program staff skills by collaborating with Clinical Manager and program leadership to assure provision of clinical training opportunities and clinical consultation, as needed. Assists with problem-solving on clinical and contract-specific issues.
  • Always maintains medical records confidentiality through proper use of computer passwords, maintenance of secured files, adherence to HIPAA polices.
  • Collaborates with administrative support staff, field-based assessors, Clinical Manager and other internal and external resources to assure timely submissions of all assessments.
  • Utilizes proper telephone etiquette and judicious use of other verbal and written communications, following KEPRO policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Actively cross-trains to perform duties of other positions within the KEPRO office to provide a flexible workforce to meet client/consumer needs. This includes Local Care Administration program duties.
  • Provides leadership in support of or in the absence of the Clinical Manager.
The list of accountabilities is not intended to be all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties that management may deem necessary from time to time.Required Qualifications/Experience:
  • Active, unrestricted NC Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or NC Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Master’s degree in social work or bachelor’s or above for RN.
Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
  • 5+ years of clinical experience
  • 2+ years of recent experience working with mental illness.
  • 2+ years of supervisory and/or management experience.
  • Experience with geriatric populations preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills required.
  • Ability to coach team of remote field assessors to meet contract requirements.
  • Knowledge of the organization of medical records, medical terminology, and disease process required.
  • Medical record abstracting skills required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Leadership skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Flexibility and strong organizational skills needed.
  • Must be extremely proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook) and web-based clinical documentation tool navigation.
