- Support evaluation and design efforts for structural steel, reinforced concrete, dams, excavation support systems, foundations, and other above and below grade structures, including preparation of calculation packages.
- Working on preliminary through final engineering designs; developing design recommendations and producing design deliverables; serving as a project structural engineer supporting the structural lead and/or engineer of record.
- Performing engineering construction oversight of heavy civil, structural, and other types of projects.
- Preparing and presenting technical presentations of evaluation results to internal team.
- Supporting data management and analysis, technical report development, and assisting in preparation of technical presentations and proposals to clients and regulators.
- Coordinating with the Design and Project Management Team to ensure on-time and on-budget project delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or closely related field, required.
- Master's degree, or equivalent experience, in Structural Engineering or closely related field, preferred.
- Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) designation, required.
- 0-2 years of previous professional experience in civil engineering.
- Excellent technical report writing and communication skills.
- Experience with standard structural analysis programs including STAAD, Wallap, and SAP2000. Lusas and/or LS-Dyna preferred.
- Experience with design software, such as AutoCAD Civil3D or Revit, preferred.
- Willingness and ability to perform field tasks and oversight.
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- Willingness to work in the field year-round and in inclement weather.
- Ability to travel on temporary assignments.
