Learn more about our mission and culture at .Position Overview:Inner Haven Wellness is seeking a Psychiatrist, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our compassionate and collaborative care team. The ideal candidate will have experience diagnosing and treating psychiatric disorders and a passion for working with individuals affected by eating disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.You will provide psychiatric evaluations, prescribe and manage medications, and collaborate closely with our clinical team to deliver integrated, whole-person care.Key Responsibilities:Provide evidence-based psychiatric care to patients in PHP and IOP settings.Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations within 48 hours of admission.Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, with ongoing monitoring and dosage adjustments.Partner with patients and families to ensure understanding and involvement in treatment planning.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (therapists, dietitians, nurses) to enhance care coordination.Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain thorough documentation within required timeframes.Participate in insurance peer reviews when needed.Support a respectful and safe clinical environment for patients and staff.Qualifications:Psychiatrist, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant licensed in Wisconsin (unrestricted, valid, active, and in good standing).Graduation from an accredited NP or PA program.Completion of psychiatric NP or PA certification.Ability to complete all session documentation within 24–48 hours.Proficient in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR).Familiar with HIPAA standards and ethical codes of conduct for licensed professionals.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Strong understanding of psychiatric disorders and pharmacological treatment.Knowledge of physical health assessments and vital signs.Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.Effective problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Commitment to professional ethics and continuous learning.Comfortable working in an environment that may involve individuals experiencing emotional distress or behavioral challenges.Technology & Tools Used:EMR and CRM systemsMicrosoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Google WorkspaceStandard office equipment (computers, phones, copiers)Work Environment:Office, therapeutic, and clinical settingsModerate noise levelPotential contact with individuals in crisis or under the influenceOccasional extended hours as neededPhysical Requirements:Must be able to stand, walk, sit, kneel, and crouch.Must occasionally lift up to 25 lbs without assistance.Requires close and distance vision, color discrimination, and depth perception.Why Join Inner Haven Wellness?We believe that everyone has an inner haven inside.
