- 7+ years of experience in microwave and radio frequency (RF) design
- Experience with parametric modeling, using Computer Aided Design (CAD) programs such as SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, and CATIA, modeling and defining parts and assemblies, and working with the government
- Knowledge of electrical circuits and RF circuits, including reading and comprehending circuit schematics, RF circuits and design, including RF power, attenuation, filters, diplexers, antennas, and loads, antenna theory and design, and electrical theory, including voltage, power, current, and resistance
- Knowledge of electrical test equipment, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, loads, and power supplies, and RF test equipment, including spectrum analyzers, real time spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers
- Knowledge of conducting basic RF measurements, including RF power, RF frequencies, occupied bandwidth, and modulation
- Knowledge of RF communication standards, including modulation schemes and communication protocols
- Knowledge of software programming for programming test equipment such as Python or C++, and mechanical analysis such as Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
- Ability to identify mechanical failure modes to support Failure Mode Element Analysis (FMEA)
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering and 8+ years of experience with engineering, or Master’s degree and 4+ years of experience with engineering
