- Structure the job site crews for best execution of the work and utilize foreman and field engineers when available to manage systems or phases.
- Coach and develop direct reports to grow in their careers with the support of the General Superintendent by coaching them through the Proven Process, and by utilizing tools like 3A+, field performance evaluations, and employee development plan and ensure their team is identifying and developing future field leadership on their projects.
- Work with the GS to efficiently add, coach/train, or remove manpower as needed to meet project demands.
- Build a strong partnership with the Project Manager to facilitate collaboration among the field team, PM, and PE for project success. Work together to implement the client color coding strategy established during the Project Kickoff and escalate to GS if changes are necessary.
- Build a strong relationship with the client's team to foster trust and respect for effective information sharing, problem-solving, and collaboration. Establish connections with our vendors, subs, and other trades to coordinate efforts and ensure a successful project.
- Maintain a strong relationship and consistent collaboration with safety, VDC, prefab, and support operations.
- Integrate virtual construction and prefabrication into the production plan with support from the GS while coordinating with VDC, prefab, safety and support operations and ensure successful execution.
- Plan safety into every task of the project, identifying specific hazards, training/certifications needed to perform those tasks, and any specialized equipment or resources needed to perform the tasks safely. Coordinate with the GS on any safety training requirements as needed.
- Monitor the project field team based on experience and skill sets and set role clarity for field leaders on the project so they are clear on what part of the work is in their scope and what planning/execution activities they are expected to perform.
- Independently perform aspects of the preplanning portion of the proven process with oversight from the GS, while consistently executing the construction portion of proven process throughout the project.
- Collaborate with the GS to create and maintain a work breakdown structure and production plan for major activities, determine quantities/unit of measure, and use the project schedule and WBS to identify necessary resources (material, equipment, labor) for each activity.
- Review and update overall project schedule, WBS, and CTC with PM ensuring all information is accurate.
- Create BOM with buy in from PM and submit to Buyer for processing and ensure material is aligned with schedule. Manage onsite coordination of material according to logistical/staging requirements and schedule.
- Responsible for making sure every person is performing work safely. Review JHAs/THAs prior to tasks being performed. Ensure competent persons are on site as required for tasks, and that PPE is being worn at all times. Assign tasks to crew members that have the skill set and physical capability to perform the tasks.
- Communicate production goals daily and ensure the necessary labor, materials, and equipment required for production goals is available when and as needed. Follow up with team at end of day to communicate how they did compared to goals. Continuously track daily production against goals to identify and remove obstacles, escalating issues to the PM and GS if goals cannot be met.
- Play an active role in employee development and disciplinary processes, fostering a culture of growth and accountability within the team.
- Perform or ensure completion of daily documentation and submit required documents, such as timecards, equipment utilization, daily reports, and production tracking, while also complying with all rules, regulations, and company policies regarding work classifications, ratios, meal and rest periods, and work hours.

- 8+ years of construction trade or project experience in the electrical industry preferably with commercial, multi-family residential, and/or airport projects.
- Experience leading crews of 1-20 journeymen/apprentice on projects ranging $1-$12million or multiple projects.
- Must be able to create, influence and reinforce our commitment to a best-in-class safety culture.
- Valid journeyman electrician card
- Skilled & trained preferred (Building Group)
- OSHA 30-Hour certification (preferred).
- Must be able to complete all necessary competent person tests and certifications
- May be required to pass badging requirements for various airports, military bases, or schools.
- Demonstrate most or all Safety Leadership traits, by leading by example, plan safety into the work, coach & hold others accountable, and utilize expertise.
- Ability to forecast 3 to 12 months
- Proven ability to manage projects while efficiently coordinating and collaborating with the team.
- Must be proficient in scheduling and have experience utilizing scheduling platform ex. MS Project or P6.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and have excellent follow-up skills internally and externally.
- Ability to prioritize, complete tasks, and address issues in a timely manner.
- Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be detail-orientated and well organized.
- Ability to effectively delegate tasks to project team.
- Occasionally may need to participate as journeyman for skill and trained purposes
- Strong ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
- Ability to be badged at airports

- $65-$80/hr
- Note: This is a Private Base Rate. This position is Prevailing Wage/Davis Bacon Eligible depending on project assignment. Additional fringe benefits may per project designated wage determination
