Job Title: Automation EngineerResponsibilities
  • Assist in developing robotics and automation roadmaps for manufacturing facilities.
  • Participate in the design and building of automation systems.
  • Oversee the scope, cost, and schedule of automation projects, including system designs, bills of materials, and specifications.
  • Assist in vendor selection and specification of automation equipment and robots, and gather RFQs.
  • Research and stay current with the best available technologies related to automation.
  • Program HMI’s, PLC’s, robots, and vision systems.
  • Test and debug systems prior to placing them in production.
  • Provide technical support to ensure plant robots are operating and optimized, including troubleshooting and operator training.
  • Create and maintain schematics and drawings for automation systems.
  • Assist plant personnel in the development and implementation of efficiency projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $34.00 - $53.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
