Locally owned and family-run, they specialize in flooring and installation for both commercial and residential settings.
- The Outside Sales Representative is a crucial part of the company. The Outside Sales Representative works with clients and customers to build relationships and help the company grow. This position will require daily travel within one hour of the company office.
- Prospect and qualify new sales leads
- Track all sales activity in the company CRM and keep current by updating account information regularly
- Develop strong, ongoing relationships with prospects and current customers
- Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems and developing solutions
- Meet and / or exceed sales quotas
- Local representation at industry association and client events
- Provide outstanding customer service and demonstrates that the customer always comes first.
- Displays a positive, constructive, “can do” attitude.
- Uses sound judgment and discernment skills.
- Takes ownership for one’s own performance and is actively engaged in becoming proficient at their job.
- Ability to understand how one’s tasks and responsibilities are related to other departments, the company business, and the local flooring industry.
- Works diligently and thrives in a fast-paced work environment.

- Demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.
- Strives to proactively identify potential problems and offers or suggests effective solutions
- 3+ years of experience in Outside Sales, Business Development, or Account Management.
- Industry experience in Construction - working with General Contractors
- Experience working with developers
- Flooring Experience preferred
- Technologically proficient, including e-mail, tablets, smartphones, applications, etc.
- Highly motivated, focused and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
- Excellent selling, listening, communication, and negotiating skills.
- Base salary in the 75k - 80k/year range
