The Mid-Level Information Assurance Specialist supports cybersecurity for USTRANSCOM’s JDDE, focusing on security tagging, compliance, and incident response. Responsibilities include assisting with security audits and ensuring DoD compliance. The role uses RMF for security processes, DoDAF for security artifacts, and tools like intrusion detection systems (e.g., Snort) for monitoring. Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.5+ years in information assurance.Security+ certification.Desired Qualifications:Basic RMF knowledge for compliance.Familiarity with DoDAF security artifacts.Experience with USTRANSCOM incident response.
