Operations Coordinator

- Assist in the coordination of daily yard activities of workers and drivers.
- Utilize computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite and NAV.
- Assist in the coordination of scheduling of deliveries, pickups, and multi-sectional set-ups.
- Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with established company policies to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
- Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster, aid, and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate.
- Monitor oversight of stock assignment to branches.
- Issue and track vendor purchases orders
- Assist in the monitoring of purchasing and expense associated with the maintenance of the yard and equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Schedule and organize service calls, vendors and inside service techs in response to rental clients.
- Utilize computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite and NAV.
- Maintain and manage filing system for branch.
- Acts as liaison to other departments and outside agencies.
- Handles confidential information.
- Works independently and within a team on projects.
- Types general correspondences, memos, charts, tables, etc.
- Proofreads copies for spelling, grammar and layout, making appropriate changes. Responsible for accuracy and clarity of final copy.
- Assist with other clerical duties such as photocopying and faxing
- Acts as liaison to accounting department. Process accounting documentation as required.
- This position requires a high school diploma and 1+ year of administrative assistant experience or equivalent combination of work and educational experience
- Experience working on an assembly or construction site a plus.

- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Strong written and verbal communication

- Schedule flexibility to respond to emergencies
- Current driver’s license and ability to operate vehicles.
- Entry-level to intermediate-level construction experience required.
- Light carpentry and electrical experience.
- Position requires a high degree of concentration to manage frequent interruptions while meeting strict deadlines.
