
Administrative Assistant - Fred Meyer Transportation

- Cover the bus daily and vacation coverage
- Enter E Shipper info on spreadsheet and make adjustments in system
- Work on Maximo Fuel processing, invoicing etc.
- Provide routing function backup
- Perform other Inventory Control duties as needed for damage and audits
- Input employee schedule weekly
- Manage MyTime, missed punches, attendance, driver hours, and run reports
- Send out performance excellence discussions and birthdays/anniversaries cards; confirm completion of items
- Provide backup assistance for employees with Fresh Start, MyTime, etc.
- Serve as backup for associate relations manager (ARM) when needed
- Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and HR events
- Maintain invoicing, including setting up vendors, confirming expense accuracy, and processing checks and invoices
- Set up DOT physicals
- Enter arrival times of routes in system
- Create team wear orders
- Receive and account for fuel in system
- Send out tolls to be paid
- Work on special projects as requested
- Ability to work cooperatively in high paced and sometimes stressful environment
- Ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner
- Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
- Ability to follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues
- Provide support and assistance through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and/or older adults
