Here, you’ll be supported in progressing – whatever your ambitions.About the role:This Project Manager will lead projects in the Peripheral Interventions (PI) Division and more specifically, play an integral role in helping the Vascular Franchise to meet objectives. Primary responsibilities include leading a new product development project team – across functions, business units and manufacturing sites - to successfully deliver a defined product to the business. The scope and size of projects will vary and can include all project activities from initial kickoff through product launch.Work ModeAt Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy.   • Lead cross-functional teams across business units and manufacturing sites, managing projects of varying scope, including schedule, costs, and resources.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, monitoring progress against key business objectives and goals.
  • Provide input to functional managers on team and team member performance, while maintaining strong relationships with functional heads.
  • Manage project initiation, planning, and execution, fostering team ownership and commitment.
  • Serve as the liaison between the team, functional leaders, and divisional leadership, ensuring effective communication and resolution of cross-functional issues.

Required qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Engineering, Sciences, or another field providing a solid foundation in technical and analytical skills.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Cross-functional project team leadership experience.
  • Must be willing and able to travel, sometimes internationally, ~10% of the time.
  • Works under minimal supervision.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Prior medical device and/or regulated industry experience
  • The capability to easily navigate, manage and articulate core functional processes
  • Leads courageously by confronting problems directly; moves forward optimistically under conditions of uncertainty
  • Stays current on important trends that impact the business, places customers at the center of project execution
  • Manages the triple constraint; understands the significance, impact and aggressively manages project risks
