- Read blueprints, schematics, diagrams or technical orders to determine methods and sequences of assembly. Reviews job order to ensure all parts are included, if
- not, creates short job in Syteline. 30%
- Install electrical or electronic parts and hardware in housing or assemblies, using soldering equipment and hand tools. 30%
- Verifies part dimensions or clearances to ensure conformance to specification, using precision measuring instruments. 10%
- Align, fit, and assemble component parts, using hand tools or power tools, fixtures, and templates. 10%
- Test performance or electromechanical assemblies, using test instruments such as oscilloscopes, electronic voltmeters for 1st and final pass for quality. 10%
- Programs boards and drives for proper operation.
- High School Diploma/GED.
- 2-3 years as an electrical technician.
- Identify different screws, metal type of screws, know the difference between metric and standard screws.
- Ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers or both hands to grasp, manipulate or assemble very small objects.
- Ability to keep your hand and arm steady while moving your arm or whiling holding your arm and hand in one position.
- Read tape measure (metric and standard) and be able to convert fractions into decimals.
- Use a variety of hand tools such as hammers, screw drivers, saws, drills, wrenches, etc.
- Move job order in Syteline from kit to stock or to finished goods.
- Assign serial number on motor and assigned job function.
- Wire conduits and power outlets when needed.
- Consult with engineers about work issues.
- Clean parts, using cleaning solutions, air hoses, and cloths.
- Applies the 5s principles while performing assembly work.
- Train Electrical Technicians.
- Do work as assigned by supervisor.
- Follows safety rules and procedures.
- Work in team environment, be conscious and strive for continuous quality improvement with emphasis on Lean and 5s principles
