This individual will play a key role in the inspection, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of commercial fire alarm systems. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, technically skilled, and passionate about ensuring systems function properly to protect lives and property.Key Responsibilities:Perform inspection, testing, and maintenance (ITM) of fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA 72 and local fire codesInstall, troubleshoot, and repair fire alarm system components including control panels, initiating devices, and notification appliancesAccurately document deficiencies, repairs, and inspections using digital reporting toolsCommunicate findings clearly with customers and recommend corrective actions as neededInterpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documents to ensure proper system function and installationMaintain compliance with AHJ, OSHA, and company safety standardsProvide on-call/emergency service support as requiredRequired Qualifications:NICET Level II Certification in Fire Alarm Systems (required)3+ years of hands-on experience servicing commercial fire alarm systemsFamiliarity with major manufacturers such as Notifier, Silent Knight, Siemens, Simplex, Gamewell, EST, or othersProficient in reading and interpreting construction documents and technical specificationsStrong communication and problem-solving skillsValid driver’s license and clean driving recordPreferred Qualifications:State-specific Fire Alarm License (if required by jurisdiction)Experience with integrated systems (fire alarm, access control, CCTV)
