Utilizes experience and education to assist with developing programs, improving performance, and student and workforce education.The Therapist is a subject matter expert that relies on clinical reasoning in synthesizing complex evaluations and routinely collaborates with colleagues and key stakeholders to coordinate patient treatment that is
safe, efficient and high-quality.Essential Functions:
- Patient Care
- Master's Degree Required
- 1-3 years Previous experience in acute care environment Required
- Pelvic Floor experience (preferred)
- BLS-Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) - AHA - American Heart Association Required
- PTL-Physical Therapist License - DORA - Department of Regulatory Agencies Required
- Education and Training — Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects.
- Problem solving - the ability to systematically analyze problems, draw relevant conclusions and devise appropriate courses of action.
- Judgment and Decision Making — Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
- Knowledge of theory, principles and practice of physical therapy.
- Critical Thinking — Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
- Active Listening — Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.

- Knowledge of safety principles in patient care environment.
- Knowledge of standards, polices and procedures of Denver Health as they pertain to physical therapy.
