- Perform TIG and MIG welding (thumb control) on stainless steel and aluminum
- Weld in all positions including overhead, vertical, horizontal, and flat
- Fabricate custom parts based on blueprints and technical drawings
- Set up and calibrate welding machines for different materials and thicknesses (1/8" to ½")
- Perform mechanical work and assembly beyond basic welding tasks
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and efficiency in the work area
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Must have completed formal welding training – please list the welding school attended and any certifications obtained
- Minimum of 3 years welding experience
- Must have experience beyond production welding – custom and fabrication work required
- Proficient in TIG and MIG welding techniques
- Demonstrated ability to weld in all physical positions (overhead, vertical, horizontal, flat)
- Experience welding aluminum and stainless steel, including thicknesses from 1/8” to ½”
- Must be able to set up welding equipment independently
- Must have hands-on mechanical experience — understanding mechanical systems, performing assembly, repairs, adjustments, and diagnostics
- Ability to use general shop tools and follow assembly instructions
- Ability to lift 40+ lbs
- Must be able to stand, bend, twist, reach, and perform repetitive tasks for long periods
