Job Category: Field Consulting - CommercialJob Description:Chubb Risk Consulting, Environmental SpecialistThe Environmental Specialist will serve as a technical subject matter expert and provide technical service delivery for environmental compliance related services, be responsible for global vendor management, and partner with the Chubb Risk Consulting Sales and Client Services team to improve project execution, efficiency, and financial results. This role will involve both internal and external-facing activities.The objective is to help Chubb Risk Consulting meet sales and revenue goals, ensure a consistent level of technical execution, and partner with Sales & Client Services to improve the overall client experience.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESEnvironmental Compliance (30%)
  • Advances Environmental Compliance and Sustainability sales opportunities with existing accounts and prospects (support cross-selling activities)
  • Acts as a subject matter expert (SME) and supports Sales and Client Services to advance opportunities through client discussions, scoping/pricing, and client presentation activities
  • Provides technical service delivery to support execution on sold projects
  • Provides technical project management support
  • Maintains working knowledge of applicable rules and regulations pertaining to Environmental Compliance and related services
Vendor Management (35%)
  • Identifies potential vendors and evaluates proposals (factors include price, quality, reliability, and compliance)
  • Negotiates contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) with vendors, ensuring favorable terms and conditions
  • Builds and maintaining positive relationships with vendors, serving as the primary point of contact for communication and issue resolution
  • Tracks and evaluates vendor performance against agreed-upon SLAs and KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring compliance
  • Addresses and resolves any vendor issues or disputes that arises such as performance problems, payment disputes, or contract breaches.
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders to understand their vendor needs, gather requirements, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date documentation of vendor information, contracts, and performance data
  • Partners with Sales & Client Services to complete vendor (Chubb Risk Consulting) qualification and onboarding.
  • Establish reports on vendor performance, cost savings, and other relevant metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Continuously seeks ways to improve vendor management processes, identify new opportunities for cost savings and efficiency gains, and enhance the overall value derived from vendor.
  • Creates, updates, and maintains a comprehensive library of sales enablement materials and tools, including playbooks, training guides, product information sheets, and case studies.
  • Implements and manages tools and platforms, ensuring sales teams are trained on their use and maximizing their effectiveness.
  • Create and maintain Salesforce reports, dashboards, and workflows to track and measure key sales metrics and implement sales enablement strategies.
  • Provides oversight of third-party risk management and vendor portals (e.g., Avetta, ISNetworld).
  • Coordinates and participates in activities to enhance presence, commitment, and capabilities in the local, regional, national and international marketplace.
Sales Enablement (35%)KEY METRICS:
  • Environmental Compliance Objectives:
  • Partnering w Sales and Client services in a timely manner to support sales and project execution
  • Effective and successful project execution, including scoping, pricing support and technical service delivery, to meet client expectations
  • Feedback regarding content and participation when supporting client-facing meetings (scoping, project and/or client satisfaction activities).
  • Vendor Management Objectives:
  • Maintenance of subcontractor network in compliance with Chubb third party risk management requirements (e.g., timely contract renewals, completion of internal requirements)
  • Timely identification and onboarding of new subcontractors, as needed, based on strategic sourcing objectives.
  • Source multiple competitive bids from qualified subcontractors within defined parameters.
  • Establish data points and manage data to support Vendor Management objectives
  • Sales Enablement Objectives:
  • Completion of all assigned tasks within specified deadlines (task dependent)
  • Facilitate a minimum of one business process efficiency review annually with the goal of implementing/executing upon an internal process improvement plan
  • Maintain billable utilization of 65%.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years supporting Environmental Compliance and Sustainability consulting services (project management and technical service delivery)
  • 5+ years global Vendor Management experience (scoping and RFP development through project execution)
  • Exceptional time management and client service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated conflict resolution skills both internally and externally focused
  • Excellent oral and written presentation/communication skills
  • Accuracy, efficiency, quality and good judgment
  • Senior-level experience working with Microsoft products inclusive of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability and willingness to learn and master new technology platforms
  • Strong marketing orientation; consultative sales experience (preferably within the EHS space) preferred.
  • Salesforce or Deltek experience strongly preferred

The specific offer will depend on an applicant's skills and other factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.
