Shift: Available on 2nd shift and 3rd shift
- 3pm-11:30pm
- 11p-7:30am
- Perform quality inspections for defects throughout the receiving/in-process (manufacturing and assembly)/final approval process.
- Conduct tests using detailed work instructions and measurement equipment.
- Measure and document specifications of random items in each production run.
- Verify that the inspected product meets the customer s specifications.
- Train team members to ensure and refine production quality.
- Must be able to detect small part numbers from a reasonable distance.
- Repetitive motions that may use wrists, hands, and/or fingers on a consistent basis.
- This position requires good manual dexterity, coordination and stamina.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a huge plus.
- 5+ years of experience in quality inspection or quality assurance.
- Experienced in using precision measuring equipment such as CMM (Coordinate Measurement Machine), calipers and gauges.
- The ability to interpret drawings and other “First Article” requirements.
- Familiar with ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485 as well as GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice).
- Highly organized with faultless attention to detail.
- The ability to learn quickly and be able to work productively to tight deadlines without direct supervision.
- Proven communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships.
