The Software Engineer will be responsible for DevOps-related activities both individually and as a member of an Agile team. She/he will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites and frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications; troubleshooting and debugging automated tests to identify root causes of failures and ensure test reliability; working closely and collaborating with development teams to identify testable requirements; implementing automated testing solutions and ensuring that the software is testable; writing and executing automated test scripts using various testing tools and frameworks; maintaining clear and concise documentation; tracking issues; managing VMs; and using CI/CD tools and basic system admin experience. The selected individual will actively participate in daily stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Program Increment (PI) Planning, and other related team activities.Candidates should have the following qualifications:
- TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph
- Must have demonstrated experience with Java, including development of unit test
- At least 8 years of relevant experience
- Experience working with integration test framework
- Basic Windows administration experience (i.e. Windows Registry Editor, Services, Task Scheduler, etc.)
- Experience with task automation such as PowerShell
- experience with knowledge management systems
- Experience e with Behavior Driven Development (BDD)
- Experience with the Scrum, Scaled agile Framework (SAFe) methodology, SAFe Agilest Certification, or experience as a member of an Agile team
- Must have experience working with Spring libraries, development IDEs (Integrated Development Environments), and working with CI/CD frameworks
- Must have experience with software source control and configuration management tools
- Must have experience working in Windows and/or Linux operating systems and experience working in a virtualized environment (managing VMs)
- If not located at the MD location, some short-duration travel may be required to support quarterly PI Planning sessions in MD

Levels 1 and 2: $70,000 to $190,000
