Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access, verifying credentials, and providing exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional presence at the front desk. This is an armed post, requiring you to carry out your duties with a high level of responsibility and professionalism. You will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and responding promptly to any situations that arise.   • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
  • Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of employees, visitors, and vendors as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences at the front desk.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, including communication with Allied Universal management and local authorities.
  • Support the overall security-related operations of the location by observing and reporting any suspicious activity or potential risks.
  • Answer phones, direct calls, and provide information or assistance to visitors and employees as needed.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Must possess a valid armed guard card or license.
  • Must have at least 6 months of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
