Career Level: T3Original Posting Date: 3/5/2024Job Title: Senior Engagement EngineerLocation: Lake Mary, FLPurpose and Objective:SAP America, Inc. seeks a Senior Engagement Engineer at our Lake Mary, FL location responsible for the delivery of services for Premium Engagement Contracts and the customer's successful adoption of SAP solutions.Expectations and Tasks:Support or execute analysis of customer requirements, including business requirements, program/project, IT, transformational, architecture, development, infrastructure, and operational topics. Execute engineering services or resources for end-to-end projects or focused phased activities, including design, optimization, assessment, technical integration, validation, operations, escalations, empower training, and workshops. Support or execute engagement planning of Premium Engagement services to customer requirements, solutions, create value proposition, and secure customer alignment. Collaborate with the account team, expert engagement engineer, solution or industry experts, partners, executive sponsors, or delivery support teams. Support engagement quality and execution of Premium Engagement services including governance, top issue/escalation management, executive reporting and presentations, resource staffing, contract management, and services delivery.Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Management Information Systems, or related field and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Employer will accept a three or four year Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and experience as equivalent to a Bachelor's degree. The Company will also accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Management Information Systems, or related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.Work Experience:Experience must involve four (4) years in the following:
- MaxAttention, New MaxAttention, Active Attention, Active Embedded, and Value Assurance Engagements;
- SAP Activate Methodology and project management;
- SAP Premium Support methodology and services portfolio;
- ABAP, HANA, ECC, R/3, SCM, CRM, BW, PI/PO, and Cloud;
- Implement service plan and Premium Support delivery to address critical situations and optimize SAP On-Premise and Cloud solutions;
- Develop business proposals for Premium Support upsell opportunities or contract renewals;
- Customer support including engagements, roadmaps, projects, IT operations and business, complex landscapes, and issue resolution; and
- SAP Solution Manager and SAP Earlywatch Alert.
