- Set up Vendors; with the knowledge of 1099-Misc IRS guidelines
- Distribute incoming mail for approvals
- Daily processing of vendor invoices, General Ledger coding and project coding verification in Deltek and ORAA for multiple companies
- Enter high volume invoices for multiple subsidiaries; verify authorized approvers
- General Ledger coding and project coding verification
- Check and verify all voucher edits, correct and post journals; non-manual check registers
- Complete bank transactions – initiate ACH payments and process manual check payments
- Select and cut checks for multiple companies on a weekly basis; attach backup and file
- Complete 1099’s - reconcile ledgers, review edit reports, print 1099’s
- Review travel, per diem, mileage, employee reimbursements and Corp Credit Card expense reports in Deltek for payments
- Process Mail outs – certified, regular and other ways of mailing items
- Research and resolve outstanding balances on invoices and statements
- Promptly and professionally handle the queries and requests of fellow employees and vendors, in person, through telephone or email communications
- General Administrative duties such as: copying, filing, scanning and organizing accounting office
- Other duties as assigned
- A minimum of four (4) years of Accounts Payable experience that demonstrates ability to meet core competency requirements
- High School Diploma, or equivalent, required
- Operate 10 key by touch
- Must be able to type 40 wpm
- Minimum one year experience with CostPoint/Deltek system
- Ability to complete tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Associates Degree in Finance or other related field
- Experience and knowledge of Alaska Native cultures
