They support big ideas from start to finish, delivering on concept, construction, and ongoing care for track, field and courts. The Senior Regional Project Manager will lead multiple high-value construction projects across the Tarkett Sports portfolio. This role is instrumental in overseeing project execution from pre-construction through completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You will serve as the key liaison with clients, manage internal project teams, and help shape the future of our construction operations through continuous process improvement. You will be working from Lee’s Summit, MO office and reporting to the Vice President of Project Management.Tarkett Sports Construction Central is part of Tarkett Sports.   • Oversee multiple concurrent construction projects (Sports facility construction including civil and post tension concrete construction) valued at $5M+, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget expectations
  • Lead project buyout and subcontractor contract management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, risks, and resolutions
  • Supervise and mentor a team of Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers, fostering a culture of accountability and professional growth
  • Refine and optimize internal project management tools, templates, and procedures to improve efficiency and standardization
  • Analyze historical project data and KPIs to identify trends, improve forecasting, and drive continuous improvement across teams
  • Ensure consistent use of digital project management platform (Procore) to maintain project documentation and reporting integrity.
  • Travel to and between the job sites as needed for development of plans, relationships, and overall project design needs (90% in office and 10% in field Mid-West area)
What you need for success:
  • 10+ years of construction (civil and post-tension concrete construction) project management experience, with proven leadership on projects exceeding $5 million in value.
  • Experience in Sports facility construction is a plus.
  • Strong team leadership skills with experience managing direct reports.
  • Expertise in planning, coordinating, and executing construction tasks in line with project specifications, timelines, and budgets; skilled at troubleshooting issues through a team-focused approach.
  • Proficiency with Procore is required.
  • ASBA or PTI certification is preferred.
  • PMP certification is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and a client-focused mindset.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with internal departments and external stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a data-driven approach to continuous improvement.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions on-site, such as weather delays, material shortages, or changes in project scope.
