Instructors are expected to provide a safe, educational, and enjoyable experience for all class participants. This position is a great opportunity for those who enjoy aquatics and are looking to engage with Denver's community members.Certified Water Fitness Instructors are paid $22.34/hour.As a Certified Water Fitness Instructors, you will:Instructing water fitness classes of roughly 45 minutes to 1 hour in duration per class at one or more Denver recreation center poolsCreating enthusiastic and energetic class environments while providing specific emphasis on safety and proper execution of movementsKeeping current on all certifications and industry practicesMaintaining attendance records for classes; distributing and collecting class evaluations as requestedAnswering participant questions and resolving issues, problems, and conflictsMaintaining a clean and safe work areaCompleting lesson plansWhat You’ll BringWe are looking for individuals who are knowledgeable about and can convey an enthusiasm for aquatics programming.
