- Performance management: on an ongoing basis engage with staff to identify growth opportunities, deficiencies, appropriate training, etc. Execute to the Enterprise review cycle. Manage compensation and career progression.
- Support the creation, updating, and maintenance of software engineering processes.
- BS + 5 years of exp in related STEM field; MS + 3 years of exp.
- Candidate must have excellent written, communication, and emotional intelligence skills, and be able to work independently and within groups.
- Ability to facilitate/mediate in conflict resolution matters.
- The candidate must have a full understanding of his/her specific discipline with would include object orientated programming experience in C++/Java
- Familiarity with other engineering disciplines including manufacturing, test, systems, quality, and electrical.
- Must have an active Secret Clearance.
- Candidate must be able to work on site at the facility.
- MS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field, with 8 or more years of technical experience.
- Previous experience as a functional manager or technical team leader.
- Candidate should have hands on experience with DoD communications systems
- Proficiency in C/C++, Python, Java, XML, Multi-threaded Linux Environments
- Familiar with OMS/UCI infrastructure
- Experience with DevOps technologies including Atlassian suite, Jenkins, Coverity, BlackDuck
- Candidate should have direct supervisory experience and/or significant team leadership (IPT lead)
- Familiarity with EVMS Reporting and CAM responsibilities
- Familiarity with other organizational functions such as supply chain, procurement, logistics, and mission assurance
