Our Commercial Property Accountants are responsible for all accounting functions for a portfolio of properties--this includes accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and generating financial statements. The ideal person will work well with a team--assist multiple departments, troubleshoot, problem solve--with the ability to also work independently, and manage multiple projects successfully.Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily accounting functions for a portfolio of properties
  • Prepare monthly financial reports
  • Maintain property and tenant data in software system (Yardi)
  • Prepare and process tenant billings
  • Assist in preparation of budgets
  • Perform or assist in special projects
Required Skills/Abilities

  • Ability to manage time and workload successfully
Experience
  • Three+ years in full charge bookkeeper position.
  • Must be experienced in multiple sets of books, AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliations and month-end financial reports
  • Excel required (intermediate level or higher)
  • Yardi experience helpful
