- Partner with plant leadership to align HR strategies with business goals
- Build strong employee relationships—be a visible presence on the floor
- Lead employee engagement, retention, and performance management initiatives
- Support recruitment and onboarding for hourly and salaried roles
- Oversee compliance, benefits, and HR reporting requirements
- Collaborate with other site HR Managers on best practices and training programs
- Manage labor relations and serve as liaison between union and management
- Provide counsel on discipline, investigations, and policy enforcement
- Foster a positive, safety-driven culture rooted in transparency and respect
- Bachelor's degree in HR or related field
- 7+ years’ HR experience in a manufacturing setting
- Must have some experience in HR leadership role
- MUST have experience in union environment
- Confident navigating a matrixed organization and building relationships at all levels
- Strong knowledge of labor law, compliance, and HR best practices
- Experience using HRIS systems and Excel for reporting and analytics
- A proactive, approachable, and self-directed professional with strong communication skills
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred
