System Administrator (Offutt AFB) – LeidosDo mission-critical infrastructure and cutting-edge cloud migrations get your pulse racing? At Leidos, you’ll be the linchpin of Air Force ISR operations—building rock-solid Windows/Linux environments, safeguarding top-secret data, and architecting the next wave of AWS/Azure solutions.What You’ll Own
  • End-to-End Server Maestro Lead the install, configuration, tuning, and 24/7 support of Windows & Linux servers, storage arrays, and databases—ensuring peak performance for every mission.
  • Rapid-Response Troubleshooter Diagnose hardware, software, and network issues at lightning speed.
  • Own full-scale crash recoveries and backup restores so mission downtime stays at zero.
  • Security & Compliance Vanguard Collaborate with InfoSec teams to enforce DoD 8570 IAT Level II (Sec+), audit logs, and harden systems against threats—keeping our defense posture airtight.
  • Cloud Architect & Migration Trailblazer Design scalable, resilient AWS/Azure blueprints.
  • Craft migration playbooks and guide applications into the cloud with surgical precision.
  • Performance Optimizer Monitor system health and network traffic, identify chokepoints, and deploy targeted fixes that accelerate data flows and user experiences.
  • Knowledge Engineer Capture your designs, policies, and runbooks in our shared Wiki—transforming complex setups into crystal-clear guidance.
  • Innovation Scout Scan the horizon for cutting-edge tech, champion pilots, and blueprint your roadmap for tomorrow’s breakthroughs.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree + 9 years of relevant experience (or equivalent mix of education, certifications, and hands-on work)
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II compliant (Security+ certified)
  • Proven track record supporting Air Force ISR ops, with hands-on AF systems & databases
  • Deep familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or equivalent)
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • Fluent English communication skills
Nice-to-Haves
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect coursework or certification • Embedded experience with Air Force ISR units • CompTIA Network+ and/or Server+ credentials
