- Must be able to obtain a US Government Public Trust clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Aerospace Engineering, System Engineering, Computer Engineering, or another relevant field
- A minimum of 5 years' experience developing and implementing real-time ED-137 compliant UHF/VHF radio and voice switching system architectures.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to assist in the development of implementation and transition plans for telecommunications networks and systems, radio, and voice systems.
- Ability to use and maintain engineering tools, including hardware/software products.
- Ability to apply customer service, engineering, electronics installation, and computer skills to assist in performing field implementation work.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with supervisors, co-workers, employees, and customer field force personnel.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to research, collate and present information effectively, in both verbal and written forms.
- Ability to multi-task and perform with evolving priorities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive issues with discretion and sound judgment.
- Able to effectively resolve problems and conflicts.
- Master's degree in electrical engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, or another relevant field
- Experience leading development and integration of prototype and/or production RF mission systems.
- Strong oral, written and presentation skills.
- Experience with developing performance-based specifications and statements of work
- Experience in working on a multi-disciplinary team and generated technical procedures for testing, deploying, integrating, and commissioning RF mission systems.
- Experience with agile development.
- Preferably East Coast
- 10 - 30%
- Physical requirements:
- Extended Computer Use: Regular and prolonged periods of working at a computer.
- Background check: Must be able to pass government public trust investigation.
