Kevin Klein Design is a boutique interior design studio based in Los Angeles, working on a diverse range of projects including hotels, restaurants, and high-end single-family residences.We are currently seeking a full-time Lead Interior Designer with 5–10 years of professional experience to join our team. This role is focused on delivering exceptional hospitality, commercial, and single-family residential projects from concept through completion.The ideal candidate is a highly creative designer with a strong eye for detail and a well-developed design sensibility. They must have a proven track record in hospitality design, be fluent in 3D modeling—particularly in Rhino—and possess excellent communication and organizational skills. This is a hands-on design role requiring initiative, follow-through, and confidence across all project phases.Responsibilities
  • Lead the creative direction of projects from concept to installation
  • Project manage schedule and other team members throughout the project
  • Generate compelling design presentations, mood boards, and 3D studies
  • Produce detailed drawings, models, and renderings for client and consultant review and oversee documentation quality
  • Oversee FF&E selection, specification, and documentation
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors to execute design vision with precision
Qualifications:
  • BArch, MArch, or Bachelors Degree in Architecture or Interior Design
  • 5-10 years of professional experience (hospitality experience required)
  • Proficient with standard hospitality details
  • Excellent drafting skills. Must have Rhino Experience. Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe CS.
  • Deep understanding of FF&E, materials, and finishes, especially for hospitality environments
This is a full-time position with competitive compensation (90k-130k) commensurate with a candidate's experience and qualifications.
