This ability has made us a leader in the engineering and construction communities, and has strengthened our reputation as being progressive, innovative, and a great place to work.Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Structural Engineer with a minimum 3 years of experience for our LA – Woodland Hills office, who wants to work and grow as a team player within our progressive multi-discipline firm. The successful individual will be a licensed engineer with solid experience in the design of steel, concrete, and wood commercial/institutional buildings.In This Role You Will:
  • Perform structural analysis, design, and detailing on a variety of commercial & institutional building projects with oversight, mentoring, and training
  • Collaborate with project teams of engineers, designers and drafters to execute structural designs
  • Meet with the project team to ensure effective communication flow during design
  • Interface with the contractor during construction to ensure positive results with minimum complications
  • Work closely with the Department Manager and other engineers to support the execution of projects.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Approximate Base Salary – $90,000 - $115,000+ based on experience
  • Paid overtime at 1.0 times hourly rate
  • Competitive end of year discretionary bonus based on company/team/personal performance
  • Hybrid Work Schedule (subject to change)
  • 401k with maximum of 5% Contribution Matching for 9% Employee Contribution
QualificationsEssential Qualifications
  • B.S. degree in Civil or Structural engineering
  • EIT or PE registration in any state
  • Three or more years of experience with design of concrete, steel, or timber structures
  • Ability to work independently with proper engineering oversight
  • Ability to work and collaborate in larger project teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • PE registration in CA
  • M.S. degree in Structural Engineering or related field
  • Interest in project management
  • Experience with DSA and OSHPD
  • Experience with 3D modeling software (ETABS, RISA, SAFE)

  • Must be a self-starter who is able to see the big picture and connect the vision of the company with his/her job, be persistent, and follow through in a consistent manner
  • Passionate about the client or pursuit and takes ownership of his/her work
  • Able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment (or demonstrate ability to develop such abilities)
  • Maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers
