- provide excellent customer service at your location which includes communicating with customers, resolving complaints and inquiries, fill in for absent employees, answer telephone and screen calls.
- make supervisory decisions that are consistent with Town Pump standards, policies, and procedures, assist in planning, leadership, organizing, and follow-ups in the following areas: Controllable expenses, sales increases, inside gross margin, shortage controls, promotional programs, and monitor competitors.
- complete daily bookwork using a computer to record employee information, inventory, and sale information.
- maintain security of all store assets. Control of cash, fuel, and inventories. Control of store merchandise and labor hours.
- provide new employee hiring, training, and orientation. Disciplining and/or terminating problem employees.
- order supplies and merchandise, inventory merchandise, invoicing merchandise, key in daily sales, merchandising, including receiving, pricing, stocking, displaying, and rotating inventories.
- complete store maintenance and basic repairs, make bank deposits and perform light cleaning of the store and restrooms.
- set an exemplary example for co-workers in terms of professionalism, attitude, and teamwork in the areas of customer service and Convenience Store Operations.
- maintain a valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
