- Design and maintain a dynamic classroom environment that promotes hands-on learning, self-expression, inclusion, and collaboration.
- Develop lesson plans that support active and meaningful learning while ensuring a high standard of education.
- Communicate regularly with parents and school counselors regarding student progress and development.
- Evaluate student growth and performance, providing constructive feedback and assessments.
- Foster and reinforce Jewish values such as kindness, respect, compassion, and integrity in daily lessons and interactions.
- Engage in school activities, including PTA meetings and student clubs, to support the broader school community.
- Master’s degree in Education or a related field.
- State certification and/or teaching license in a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience (preference given to candidates with experience in early childhood or elementary education).
- Strong ability to create engaging, student-centered lesson plans that encourage critical thinking and creativity.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
