- Conduct regular inspections and audits of the manufacturing facility to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the investigation of accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and contribute to the development of corrective and preventive action plans.
- Support the coordination of employee training programs on safety procedures, hazard recognition, and emergency response protocols.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to safety inspections, training sessions, incident reports, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship throughout the organization.
- Stay informed about changes in relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices, and assist in the interpretation and implementation of new requirements.
- Participate in safety committee meetings and contribute ideas for continuous improvement of EHS initiatives.
- Assist in the management of waste disposal, recycling programs, and other environmental sustainability efforts.
- Provide support for emergency response drills and coordinate with external agencies as necessary.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant EHS standards is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and establish positive relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Relevant internship or work experience in EHS or related field is desirable but not required.
- Base Salary of $60,000-$95,000 depending on experience
