We're Filling Important Jobs!Join an industry leader and innovator looking for people who want to make a difference.Hoffer Plastics is hiring for "Toolroom Helper", "1st shift".The Tool Room Helper is responsible Assist and support the Tool Room operations as needed taking direction of the Tool Room Foreman.Starting Pay $18.00 - $21.00 (based on experience)1st Shift Hours are 8:00pm-4:00pm** Hoffer provides full training, extensive benefits, pay premiums for night shifts, and unlimited career potential. ****Responsibilities:The following responsibilities will vary based on skill level and experience.
  • Clean molds
  • Work side by side with a tool maker, helping them do PM's / Assembly
  • Assist the Tool Room with running errands to tool shops / welders etc. Must be able to effectively communicate to outside vendors.
  • Skid and crate molds
  • Transport molds to mold racks and/or plants
  • General housekeeping duties as assigned.
  • Adherence to all company safety policies

PHYSCIAL REQUIREMENTS:The incumbent will:
  • Working in a clean manufacturing environment that may include moderate noise levels and will require spending a significant amount of time moving around on the manufacturing floor.
  • Ability to stand and/or walk up to constantly during the shift.
  • Lifting up to fifty-five pounds (55).
  • Perform repetitious movements including ability to push/pull items, bending, stooping, twisting, balancing, kneeling and crouching is involved in the regular execution of duties.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.
  • Must wear appropriate PPE.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Good communication skills
  • Valid driver's license w/clean driving history
