
Formulation Analytical Scientist

- Run analytical tests to help with material characterization, process optimization, and formulation development.
- Use advanced tools like LC-MS, LC-MS/MS, UPLC, SEC-MALS to analyze lipids, RNA, and proteins.
- Write and update test methods, SOPs, and study reports.
- Work closely with teams in genetic medicine, formulation, and analytical development to deliver timely results.
- Troubleshoot issues with assays and clearly present your findings in team meetings.
- Keep accurate records using electronic lab notebooks and sample tracking systems.
- Take on additional lab responsibilities as needed.
- B.S. in life sciences with 4–6 years of industry experience, OR
- M.S. in life sciences with 2–3 years of industry experience.
- Hands-on experience developing and optimizing analytical assays.
- Experience working with lipid, RNA, and protein analysis using LC-MS and LC-MS/MS.
- Familiarity with QExactive or Orbitrap instruments.
- Ability to work independently after initial training.
- Strong troubleshooting and data interpretation skills.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Experience in qualifying assays using ICH guidelines.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Experience with iPSC culture and differentiation (a plus).
- Comfortable using digital lab tools like FlowJo, GraphPad Prism, Benchling, SharePoint, and Veeva.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction or sponsorship.
