- Providing Quality Control Plans for all assigned products
- Working independently or in a team to develop and implement solutions to quality problems
- Being an integral part of the company-wide effort of Continuous Process Improvement.
- Develop, coordinate and maintain the Quality KPI's for the assigned production area to ensure zero quality claims for the customer and next process on the supply chain.
- Coordinate containment, Process and Product Audits, Actions Plans, Quick Kaizen, A3, 8D and Major Kaizen to ensure zero quality claims for the customer and next process on the supply chain
- Establish a Visual Factory Processes to show in real time Process and Product Capability performance to encourage Cp/Cpk improvements.
- Provide engineering support and ensure consistent application of quality techniques to solve problem.
- Determine when process stability and capability studies should be performed on existing processes. Review and analyze results. Recommend changes to processes based upon findings and perform follow up to verify effectiveness.
- Participate in the development of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and approved it.
- Write and revise Quality System Procedures/Work Instructions/Process Qualifications and control plans.
- Perform all the required and related PPAP
- Determines quality improvement parameters by identifying statistical methods relevant to manufacturing processes.
- Establishes statistical confidence by identifying sample size and acceptable error; determining levels of confidence.
- Develops sampling plans by applying attribute, variable, and sequential sampling methods.
- Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data; making recommendations.
- Assist conducting conformance audits of Internal procedures, product compliance to customer requirements
- Assist in the investigation of product and process failures that impact customer product. Work with the customer in an ethical manner that helps resolve these failures.
