- Full-time, 40-50 hours per week
- Days of week/weekend scheduled will vary depending on levels of business forecasted
- Maintaining a strong, consistent presence in the restaurant/outlet areas, assisting the team in any capacity, and providing frequent coaching and development of elevated service skills and techniques.
- Responsible for maintaining a consistently smooth-running operation balanced with fiscal expectations and outstanding food and beverage experiences.
- Assuring clear, concise, and thorough communication of all F&B related items as well as other relevant hotel and local happenings.
- Mentoring of the F&B supervisory team for growth and success.
- Hiring, training, and developing all restaurant/outlet team members.
- Providing timely accountability, counseling, and monthly meetings for team members.
- Working independently and with other key departments of the hotel to ensure accuracy in forecasting covers for all meal periods in Brazos Proper Texas Kitchen.
- Forecasting and scheduling of staff according to anticipated business levels.
- Communicating dependably with Director of Food and Beverage, General Manager, etc. on all upcoming events, promotions, new products, etc.
- Attending department head, conference review, F&B, and pre-con meetings as appropriate.
- Monitoring of all current inventories, their administration, and ordering of new products as necessary.
- Ensuring completion and turning into the proper location all food, beverage, and disposable requisitions each shift.
- Daily tracking of payroll and revenue.
- Monitoring and critiquing food quality and service levels.
- Handling and successfully resolving guest complaints.
- Assisting in other hotel operations when needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 6 years or more of elevated restaurant experience.
- 4 years management experience with proven success in staff development, refined skills, and successful fiscal management.
- Four-star hotel or fine dining experience preferred.
- Forbes Steps of Service training preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Extensive knowledge of beer, wine, and liquor.
- Knowledge of basic POS functions preferred.
- Ability to make quick decisions when required.
- Experience with effective scheduling to business plans.
- Full stewardship of inventory and ordering experience.
