Job Title: Fertilizer Logistics CoordinatorReports to: Location Manager Location: SmithvillePosition Objective: To facilitate the custom application of fertilizer products and customer deliveries in an accurate, timely, and efficient manner.Qualifications: Candidate must have strong work ethic and be passionate about providing great customer service. Must be highly motivated and have a desire to produce consistent results in a high-pressure environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills a must, have a strong understanding of the products we handle. Knowledge of local customer base and road network. Computer skills and knowledge of software needed.Responsibilities:
Operation of fertilizer blending equipment and automation programs
Dispatching delivery vehicle fleet to custom machines and fulfilling customer orders
Planning and routing of delivery equipment in a way that maximizes efficiency. Provide accurate directions to delivery drivers and staff.
Communication with applicators on job progress to ensure machines keep moving
Take delivery orders directly from customers and execute fulfilment of those orders
Detailed documentation and organization skills are a must.
Work in a team environment and promote teamwork among facility staff as well as other Centerra locations
Monitor inventory levels in the blend tower and building and assist manager with re-supply
Be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced demanding environment.
Assist with grain operations as needed
Other tasks and responsibilities as needed at the discretion of facility manager
Education: High School or vocational/technical degree in a related fieldExperience: 2-5 years of experience in custom application or related field.
