- Review documentation created for the project and, as necessary review Turn-in data created by Enerflex Applications group including customer specification on assigned jobs.
- Review and understand project wiring diagrams for Control Panels and/or Junction Boxes working with Control Designer to meet project documentation and post commissioning delivery commitments.
- Check off and test the delivered and assembled Bill of Material (BOM) and Control Panel and/or Junction Box to customer and support customer questions/comments.
- Support the Sales team on Change Order costing and scope if necessary.
- Understand the scope and ingredients of the Sequence of Operation file.
- Understand and adhere to the Cause & Effect and Control Narrative.
- Modify and adjust the HMI and PLC applications per customer's requests and updated application requests.
- Follow and test the Network Address log for customer remote communications.
- Responsible of PLC (PAC) / HMI programs test either, panel shop or assembling area.
- Responsible for generating and accuracy of final project documentation related to Automation.
- Technical Support for Applications/Sales, Service and Retrofit groups. Support may include review customer specifications and generate bid cost,
- Responsible for weekly time and expense reports related to the job.
- Follow AMS guidelines and policy for field work and company travel.
- Network and develop relationships with customers to further the Enerflex brand reputation and promise.
- Model and champion Enerflex core values in ways that center team culture on these values.
- Abide by and promote the Enerflex HSE policy.
- 2+ yrs. experience in PLC (PAC)/HMI programming, Allen Bradley preferred, Siemens Modicon and GE are a plus.
- Able to check and follow-up with CAD design. Project layout is a plus.
- 1+ yrs. experience in commissioning of various control systems with Allen Bradley hardware; other brands and versions are a plus.
- Knowledge of control systems for rotating equipment is required. Level of experience is flexible.
- Knowledge in NEC code for hazardous location is required.
- Good analytical and logical problem-solving skills.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and written.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office application software.
- Travel may be required, up to 90%.
- Fast-paced office environment. Many tasks have high degrees of time sensitivity.
- Domestic and international travel will be required at times.
- May be exposed to confidential information.
- Occasionally required to work non-standard hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
