Interns will work full-time hours during the summer.Job PurposeThe Driveline Engineering team, based in Oak Brook, designs and develops transmissions and axles for CNH's large tractor product lines. By working on both current production and next-generation driveline systems, the team ensures performance, reliability, and innovation in one of the most critical systems of agricultural equipment.As a Driveline Engineer Intern, you will gain hands-on experience with design, modeling, and analysis of driveline components while contributing to real-world projects that impact CNH products.Key ResponsibilitiesYour responsibilities may include:Assisting with the design, integration, and application of driveline components and systems for large tractor programsSupporting transmission architecture development activitiesCreating and modifying 3D models and 2D drawings in Pro-E for parts and component assembliesPerforming stress and life calculations to confirm that components and systems meet performance requirementsTroubleshooting and solving complex engineering problems with guidance from the driveline teamCollaborating with engineers to support production and new product development initiativesTraveling as needed to the Racine manufacturing plant or Racine Lakeside test facility to support design validation activitiesPreferred QualificationsCandidates must be pursuing (at minimum) a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agriculture Engineering, or a related field.What We OfferWe offer dynamic career opportunities across an international landscape.
