- Possess the knowledge and skills required to plan, control, manage, and successfully complete the work.
- Provide supervision for the NELOGIS-employees to include but not limited to, planning, and managing the contract professionally.
- Coaching and mentoring supervisors and leads, ensuring that work is scheduled properly to obtain maximum use of resources.
- Ensuring that accurate and timely reports are provided.
- Effective supervision to prevent inefficient or wasteful methods in the performance of services ordered.
- Execute cost-saving factors and quality controls to ensure work is performed as scheduled and at a fair and reasonable cost.
- Alternate Site Manager/Operations Manager will have full authority to act on all matters relating to NELOGIS’ Performance in the absence of the Site Manager
- At a minimum, the Alternate Site Manager/Operations Manager shall have at least 3 years of experience in Distribution Management, or at least 7 years of progressive management experience in distribution operations similar in size and complexity to the operation offered in this contract.
- Must have previous experience working at a DLA Distribution Facility
- A minimum of two 2 of experience using automated warehouse management systems within the past 5 years
- Possess the knowledge and skills required to plan, control, manage, and successfully complete the work.
- Experience utilizing the new DLA Distribution Center Warehouse Management (WMS) that replaced the Distribution Standard System (DSS).
- Must be eligible to obtain and retain a U.S. Secret clearance
